Shawn Laksmi Greenberg

Laksmi (pronounced Lock-sh-me) is my middle name, but ever since I was born, my family has called me by my middle name. I was named after the Hindu Goddess of Fortune (pretty lucky). My legal first name is Shawn, and if that is easier for you to remember, please call me Shawn. 

I am a mom, educator, traveler, yogi, and photographer.  As a photographer, I hope to capture natural, authentic, and sacred images of love, and life. 

I believe photography is a collaboration, working with my clients to get images that are real, true, beautiful, and fun. If you are looking for family photography, wedding photography, pregnancy, maternity, newborn, events, birthday parties, anything, please send me an email, or call me.        I love meeting new people. 

To make my pricing affordable and fit any budget, I charge $350 an hour, plus travel expenses. If you identify as BIPOC, the first hour of photography is free. 

I live in Grass Valley California, teach at an arts based charter school in Nevada City, and try to be the best version of myself everyday.
